Hello! Hope you all doing great this year? I haven’t been here for awhile, but with New Year and new resolutions I am going to come back with new ideas. Hopefully you all support me and stay with me.
So today I’m coming with styling post I called “What to wear”. Today I will be writing about workwear (office wear). While talking with clients I found that many people are struggling with finding nice pieces to wear to work that are both professional and fashionable. I walked around local high street stores in Athlone Town Centre and I found really nice pieces in H&M. I teamed up chic and smarty styled wadrobe ideas for everyday uniform.
You are going to see grey and pastel colored must-haves, modern cut essentials, fresh and bright details with metalic trends. I tried to put together looks for people at different age and working in various work enviroment. Hopfully either you are solicitor, accountant or just intern you’ll find some inspirations in this post.
Please let me know in comments which look you liked. Thank you!
The classic suit is probably the most common and easiest way to dress for office, but how to avoid to look boring? This beautiful black suede/leather blazer with gold zips details will create a statment to your look. It can be wear in many ways with tuterneck , cami or shirt underneath and still look stylish. Just teamed up with skirt or trousers (H&M has both of them in suede) and you are ready to go!
To achieve the look of business professional, think of classic suit in matching color. Your blazer should have the exact same color or same color with the bottom of your outfit. Blazer should be able to be buttoned. For more fashionable look I choose metalic top.
Ankle-grazing trouser it’s a chic alternative to jeans when you need to look a bit more dressed up. Match with slim cut blazer and white botton-up shirt for clean and smart look.
The midi skirt has been making a comeback for several years now. For work, the midi skirt can be a nice change. It’s long enough to be more modest and office appropriate and, depending on the silhouette and fabric, can work well in a conservative or more casual office environment. Plus, with just a few tweaks a work midi can easily be worn on the weekends.
A shirt tied at the waistline can look effortlessly stylish paired with any outfit. It is perfect for days when you’re feeling bloated but still want to look put-together.
